Overcast Sunday pix (wallpapers for iPhone/iPod)

 

Taken with Canon 100mm USM. Unfortunately, there was no sunlight as sky was overcast so most shots with 24-105 came out crappy - however, the 100mm came through making shots interesting...

 

The second batch was taken with 24-105mm F4.  The vertical formats are a perfect fit for iPhone/iPod wall paper - all free.

Macro lens

 
Very good light today - used new Macro lens to test out the scenery. I find the lens pretty sharp and fun to use, the only negative comment I have is that I wished it had an anti-shake feature like Nikon's 105mm VR. Evidently all the Nikon lenses went up in price so I opted out for a Canon lens.

DUB auto show - LA Convention Center

             

Well, here it is straight from the show. Took both Canon and Nikon - though, there weren't enough nice looking babes. So, pictures of the girls are minimal sorry to say. I learned alot from the last show and so this time I took more creative approach to these shots rather than the usual reference/research like pix. *^^*

Hot Import Nights 2009

    Took over 1000 pix - I just selected a variety of shots. When I got there the sun was about to go down and so these are mostly night shots. The line to get in was like the longest that I've have ever seen in my life.

Chinatown Nights

  Shot with D700. Friday night and everything's alright - what with clubs in Chinatown - boom, boom, boom....couldn't hear myself think....
